Mühle Classic Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush - Olive Wood

Mühle's opulent Classic line Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush has a handle made from Olive Wood. Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its outstanding material characteristics and warm colouring. It is to be found throughout the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries to make durable goods or artistic objects.

The wood must be dried carefully for months before the handles are turned. Then the surfaces are sanded, sealed with oil and polished to a silky finish. This brings out the gentle, honey-coloured grain of the wood particularly well.

To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.

The bristles are a tried and trusted classic and the undisputed leader of the natural hair range, silvertip badger is particularly soft and flexible and is exclusively handmade at Mühle. Its silver sheen and the black band around each individual hair, which connoisseurs call a mirror, are noble distinguishing features. Its fine, conically shaped hair absorbs a lot of water and guarantees a dense, creamy lather.

Directions of Use

Cleanse skin. Rinse the brush in warm water, shake off excess water and apply shaving cream to the top of the badger brush. Work a thin layer of cream into your beard, using circular brush strokes.
For more lather, dip the tip of the brush in water and add more shave cream.

Directions for Cleaning & Care

To clean, just let fresh clean warm water run into the middle of the brush head from above. Then tap the bristles multiple times until the brush head is free of any remaining foam residue. Do not use any chemical detergents or vinegar.
