About Captain Fawcett

The Captain Fawcett brand is a tale of good fortune. In 1905 Captain Peabody Fawcett R.N Ret'd, the intrepid and eminent Edwardian explorer, disappeared whilst attempting to navigate to the source of the Ubangi, a major tributary to the Congo River. No trace was ever found of his seemingly doomed expedition, that is until 1997, when an old battered trunk purchased at a house clearance sale, was taken home and its locks forced. Inside was a bounty of beard and moustache goods and their accompanying formulae.

Captain Fawcett's Moustache Wax is based on an original recipe perfected in the 1900's by Captain Peabody Fawcett. It provides excellent hold, allowing your moustache to be worn in a range of dashing styles. It comes in several aromas, including the cedar and black pepper notes of Private Stock or the classic bay rum aroma in Booze and Baccy. The Captain Fawcett range also includes a range of beard care products to nourish those chin whiskers. Handmade in Norfolk, using only the finest ingredients.
